Acceptable Use & AI Content Policy

This policy is part of our Terms. It keeps Syncyou, our users and the platforms we connect to safe.
You must not use Syncyou to
- publish content that is illegal in India or where it is published, including content prohibited under the IT Rules, 2021;
- spam: bulk unsolicited messages, fake engagement, follow/unfollow schemes, or posting the same content repeatedly to manipulate platforms;
- impersonate people or organisations, or run fake, bot or sock-puppet accounts;
- harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against anyone, or share someone’s personal data without a lawful basis;
- create sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content promoting violence, terrorism or self-harm;
- spread deliberate misinformation, deceptive health/financial claims, or undisclosed paid promotions;
- infringe copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property;
- break any connected platform’s rules or developer policies;
- scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the Service, share accounts, resell access, or automate requests outside the app;
- use AI features to generate malware, phishing, or other harmful material.
AI content rules
- Review AI output before publishing; you are responsible for it.
- Label AI-generated or synthetic media where the law or the platform requires it, and never use it to deceive people about who or what is real.
- Don’t submit other people’s confidential or sensitive personal data to AI features without permission.
Fair use of unlimited plans
Pro Yearly includes unlimited AI credits for one person’s or one business’s normal use. Automated, shared or resale usage, or usage far beyond typical customers, may be rate-limited. We will contact you before taking action where possible.
Enforcement
We may remove content, pause publishing, limit features, or suspend accounts that violate this policy, and may report illegal content to authorities. To report abuse, email hello@syncyou.in.
